Spring Patterns

I am trying to stay away from black this Spring... which is really hard for me, but I am loving the crazy patterns I am seeing!

I don't see enough women embracing daring prints, so lets put an end to boring solids this spring ladies.. (and gents!), and hopefully I will wear less black=)

Lipstick!

So last summer I ventured out to red, hot pink, and orange (which are still hot for this spring), but I need something new.

I love the vampy look so I already went out and bought MAC's 'cyber' which is a deep purple/Burgundy. I have yet to wear it.. maybe this weekend???
I am skeptical about the grey, but I would love to try it! If anyone knows where I can get it please do tell.
Women explore with colored eyeshadow but lipstick takes you to a whole new level... don't get me wrong.. I LOVE nude lips... but you gotta change it up every once in a while...
That's all I have tonight, not in a rambling mood.
Next time you go out, make it your goal to try a new crazy color!
Gnite!

Chunky unisex watches

I have had about 15 people ask me why I am wearing my husbands watch. Oh yeah... because we definitley have the same wrist size.

There are many reasons for a woman to wear a men's watch. It's a statement, it's more visible, there's more choices, and it's just more fun! And of course I have to add that celebrities are spotted doing the same as you can see in the picture above.. and we all love celebrities!

Lets face it, the market for unisex items is in. Maybe its a sign of equality? I wouldn't really know, I am not quite the feminist... but I do know that men think it is hot, and if you are single.. it's a great ice breaker to start up a convo! (most men I know are obsessed with watches)... if I am wrong please do correct me. It reminds me of a woman wearing a white button up men's shirt. Tell me that's not sexy!

You don't have to go super chunky, there are also medium sizes. They say to judge by your wrist size. Well, my wrists are tiny and the dial itself basically covers my whole wrist.. but if you know me you know I don't give a **** what "they" say.. and I do what I want. So don't be scared to take a risk, wear it with confidence!

Ladies beware however, pairing a chunky men's watch with other men's accessories may appear like you are trying too hard. Try pairing with a flirty, feminine dress, or other feminine accessories.

You don't have to spend major bucks either. Take at look at some of these and if you opt for a more expensive version check out

Matching is so two thousand and late!

I give credit to Carrie Bradshaw for many things, one of them being a new era of not having to match! I just wish people would be daring enough to get out of their comfort zone and take a risk!

Last week I saw a woman downtown, wearing a turquoise 2 piece suit, turquoise earrings, turquoise bracelet, and turquoise shoes...basically, turquoise threw up on her...

So badly I wanted to help her.. but I would have just come off as a you know what.. who knows.. maybe she will read this someday.

And again the other night I saw a girl wearing blue jeans... white tank.. but ALL of her accessories (earrings/necklace/clutch/AND shoes) were yellow.... it just erks me.

Which brings me to another topic... people need to stop over accessorizing. There is no need to wear long chandelier earrings and a chunky necklace and a bracelet.. and some kind of headband/hairpiece .. trust me I have seen this over and over again and I think I'm gonna go mad if I see it once more...

Less is more....

...and putting random colors is genius... but there is an art to it that even I am not sure I have mastered...

Just something to think about =)

What's next?

Don't get me wrong... I love flowers/bows/headbands and any kind of millinery... but what is this? And more important.. whats next??? A tree? Runway shows can pull off just about anything... and so can GAGA, but I don't think I want to go out to the club with this thing on my head. Here are some better options! Have fun!! But don't get crazy...
